Y2 Local History Tour
Year 2 had a great Local History Tour of Stockport today recreating some of the footsteps taken by the Guernsey Evacuees that were welcomed to Stockport in 1940.
Our Local History Tour for Year 2 took in the Blue Plaque in memory of the Guernsey evacuees, Stockport Town Hall and we even had look at its Ballroom!
As the children will tell you, Edgeley and Stockport is full of History. Thanks to Stockport Town Hall and all the adults who helped today.Well done everyone!
